Charles and Veronica Webb of Seaford, DE are well
known throughout their community as parents,
grandparents, caretakers, servants, and most
importantly - children of the Most High. The love for
their family and community was most often shown in
their cooking, whether it was hosting a family dinner
(that ALWAYS included more than family) or
volunteering to cater a community dinner during the
holiday season to help out local nonprofits. After
years of blooming with joy whenever he witnessed a
smile on the face of someone who was rhapsodized
by a meal they'd lovingly created, Charles stepped
out on faith with his wife and established O Taste &
See Divine Catering LLC in 2006.
Trusting God, a year later Charles explored his
passion for cooking even more by enrolling in the
Culinary Arts program through First State
Community Action and spent 3 year(s) developing
his skill under Chef Phillip Harris. He was later
introduced to Executive Chef Victor Hendricks,
whom Charles credits with taking him under his
wing with God's direction and mentoring him into
the chef he is today. Steeped in love for his
community, Charles went on to become the Head
Chef/Cook at Seaford High School for five years
before being recruited by First State Community
Action to become the Chief Instructor for the Now
We're Cooking program for high school students
with special needs. With the support of his loving
wife, children, and grandchildren who tasted
countless meals (without complaint!), joined his wait
staff for catering events, and simply held him up
with prayers and words of encouragement, he
pushed forward to start Food for Your Soul, a
personalized meal delivery service with freezer
packed home cooked meals to fit all dietary
preferences.
To know Charles is to know his passion, love, and joy
when it comes to providing a warm meal to fill your
soul. With God's grace he continues to build on O
Taste & See. Stay tuned to see where the Lord takes
him next!
O taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the
man who trusts in Him. - Psalm 34:8
